40 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE BUILDING SERVICES INDUSTRY
Bright Orange BSC was established in 2020, with fresh ideas combined with over 40 years of experience in the building services industry.
Our flexibility with a group of both young and experienced engineers allows us the flexibility to provide the resources for each project type with a dedicated lead engineer as the main client contact throughout the project from inception to completion.
Our company provides all the expected Building Services roles from traditional mechanical, electrical, and public health design and including specialist services for sustainability and energy conservation. All our engineers are accredited and selected specifically for their enthusiasm, skills, and dedication to the project.
Bright Orange prides itself on thinking outside the box with fresh and innovative ideas whilst having high levels of understanding to consider costs. This relates to initial capital expenditure, control of costs and whole life running costs of the project.
Our main speciality is early stage design development up to planning where we work effectively with the design team to ensure spatial allowances are fully considered and realistic as we can envisage the detailed design stage requirements from experience backed up by calculations. This can be of huge benefit to the team when bidding with the client knowing the design has been fully considered and workable. We also prepare the budget estimates again providing the team with realistic costs.
Our experience ranges to all sizes of residential and commercial projects from small to large well established clients, developers, and contractors. Our projects are varied from CAT A & CAT B commercial; conversions offices into flats; new build residential from 5 units to 250 units, including commercial space.
We also like to think we have key skills in project infrastructure with many years dealing with the statutory authorities and private enterprises, often saving the client money on developing more efficient ways to service a new build together considering the key objectives for sustainability and whole life costs.
Lastly but not least, we are able to offer a combined collaborative TEAM service for projects where measured surveys may be required and/or architectural and structural services are required as part of the main M&E works package. This is achieved in collaboration with other small and larger practices and provides a one-stop-shop for clients who require multi-disciplines under one roof. Having lead both large and small projects over 20 years we have the experience in bringing together other disciplines and, conversely, work as a reliable team member on projects led by other practices.
Our main office is in Borough Market, London with a subsidiary office in Cranbrook, Kent. These are ideal locations for access within central London and also the South-East where many of our clients operate. However, we work on projects all around the country, so location does not dictate our area of operations.
